Close your eyes, take a breath and let it go. Feel into your body, breathe again and follow that breath...feel where it goes. Can you sense it curling around your heart, your hips, your spine? Can you feel your inner landscape shifting, moving, warming or opening? Perhaps you feel something else.
Now imagine that you are having a dance with this breath, and as you listen and respond, you might also hear a tiny pulse, an inner rhythm, a heartbeat. You are alive, and you are being moved from the inside out, all the while that your very soul is being danced by the universal pulse that touches everything.
beingMoved as a dance inquiry practice invites active witnessing and unscripted movement in service of authentic non-verbal expression through the body.
